You'll need a 15 millimeter socket wrench along with oil and a filter (see next picture)

Also - 4.5 quarts of 10W-30 Oil. I prefer to use Mobil 1 10W-30 Tri-Synthetic for ultimate protection. Oil comes in 1 qt. containers, so buy 5 of them. Also, you'll need an oil filter (the item on the far right)

Part # for Mobil 1 stock sized oil filter: M-101

Part # for Mobil 1 longer sized oil filter: M-201

Next, you'll need your Grand Prix. It's best to do an oil change on a warm engine. Drive around for 10 - 15 minutes before doing an oil change, but becareful because the car may be come extremely hot.

It's easiest to use a set of "Rhino Ramps". These super duty plastic ramps can support up to 12,000 lbs gross vehicle weight. They're extremely easy to use. You can also use a traditional jack and jack stands too if wanted

Make sure the rams are lined up with the tires

SLOWLY drive the car up onto the ramps until you reach the end of the ramps. Make sure you use the parking brake when the car is on the ramps!

Place wheel 'chocks' behind each rear wheel. I used a large white brick behind each wheel. This is just another saftey measure to ensure the car won't roll back.

This is what you'll see under neath the car from the front bumper.

Circled in RED is the drain plug for the oil.

Another view of the car up on ramps.

Place a large drain pan under neath the area of the drain plug, and use your 15 mm socket wrech to start loosening the drain plug.

WARNING! Oil may be EXTREMELY HOT and CAN burn your hands, it depends on the temperature of the oil. Don't say we didn't warn you.

Once the drain plug is loose, use your hands to remove fully, and let the oil drain out. It's best to use a set of latex gloves as shown to prevent the oil from getting all over your skin.
